We are talking about new worldwide trend!

I was really confused when I saw them for the first time! They remind of one old Russian movie:

Сегодня - это мировой тренд! Впервые увидев эти полосатые штаны, я сразу вспомнила модный образ Остапа Бендера из старого любимого фильма.

I thought that this stripes trend would not take root among fashionistas! I was wrong... Today this trend is everywhere, every store, from mass market till brand boutiques are full with any ind of black and white stripes: long, short, thin and fat.

From the last fashion shows of Louis Vuitton, Oscar De La Renta and Marni this specific graphic print stated it's procession from the catwalk to the wardrobes and onto the streets of different cities.

Я не могла поверить, что полосатый тренд завоюет внимание модниц всего мира. Но, я ошилась! Сегодя этот графический черно-белый принт заполонил магазины не только масс-маркета, но и глобальных брендов. В моде полоски на люой вкус: тонкие и тостые, широкие и узкие, длинные и короткие.

С последних показов Louis Vuitton, Oscar De La Renta и Marni полоски плавно перекочевали в streetstyle разных городов.

So, the day came and I found my ideal striped pants! Before that,I tried 5-8 pieces of different styles and finally I took this skinny. By the way, I can say frankly: those who are sure that the vertical bar always makes your legs thin have never tried pants with stripes! Maybe more subtle stripes, but the fat one creates quite a strange effect: it could show your legs in a worse ever look! Do not follow trends without mind! Find a correct one model!

Ну что же, настал тот день, когда я нашла свои идеальные полосатые брючки скинни! До этого я промучилась в примерочной час, испробовав на себе 5-8 моделей и фасонов. Могу теперь сказать со знанием дела: не верте тому, кто скажет вам, что вертикальная полоска обязательно вас будет худить! Вот брехня! Узкая - еще куда не шло, а вот у широкой черно-белой линии странная особенность: она то кривит, то расширяет ноги! Так что будте внимательны при выборе модели полосатиков. Не следует слепо следовать трендам!
